Challenge:

This energetic accounting firm wanted to redesign their existing 5000 sf office to maximize space and eliminate the need for their leased office across the hall that separated their team and created unnecessary overhead. Eder Casella needed to accommodate all of their employees during their peak season with room to grow. Most importantly, they had to be up and running by January 2, 2019, which gave Key Interiors 15 weeks (2 holidays and winter storms) to get permits and complete construction.

Solution:

Utilizing our in-house high accuracy laser scan technology, we were able to capture the office’s existing conditions within 1/8” accuracy and create a set of BIM construction documents to coordinate all trades and minimize the unknowns which can throw a construction schedule off track.

Key Interiors designed a flexible office concept with minimal private offices and a free address workstation design. Each employee has their own rolling drawer ped which they move from workstation to workstation. In a computer intensive job, the team enjoys a different view and a different neighbor every day. Private offices and collaboration areas are available for impromptu team meetings. A central and open break room encourages movement and conversation for a balanced work experience
