A family-run, global filter company sought to modernize its outdated facility with an eye toward sustainability and employee well-being. Their aim was to achieve LEED certification while embodying the principles of the well-building standard, demonstrating a deep commitment to their employees’ health and comfort.

Key Interiors revitalized the space by redesigning the floor plan, upgrading the lighting system, and improving air quality control. Our approach incorporated low VOC, sustainable, and locally sourced materials, including cork flooring and wood reclaimed from wine barrels, aligning with our environmental and health-centric objectives. Particular emphasis was placed on enhancing the employee break room, transforming it into a cozy retreat reminiscent of home. The conference room was strategically moved to offer views of the manufacturing area, showcasing the company’s operational core to visitors. Furthermore, providing company bicycles and shower facilities promotes a healthy, active lifestyle among employees and management.
