Sauber Manufacturing

Sauber Manufacturing is a specialized and innovative manufacturer of truck equipment and accessories.

Challenge: Located in Virgil, Il they embarked on a large new construction project to house their shop and corporate offices.  The goal was to make the new, prefabricated structure feel like it belonged in the rural community while being reflective of Sauber Manufacturing’s state of the art technology.

Solution:  Rustic finishes and salvaged materials were used throughout the space.  L-shaped sit-stand desks by Groupe Lacasse are perfect for the engineers and their long hours at their computers.  Customized perforated metal doors enclose the desk motor while increasing storage space.  The barn structure was painted a muted red to blend in with the community. Sauber Manufacturing’s new facility proves that cutting edge does not have to be modern.
