Overture

Location: Waukegan, IL

Challenge: Overture Promotions was in the midst of moving their Vernon Hills offices to a substantially larger space in Waukegan. Their goal was to consolidate several offices and promote their motto “In House – In Control.” As we all know, moving a business is a daunting task and can be met by trepidation by the team. Overture wanted to focus their budget on employee amenities, to show their appreciation, and client-facing spaces, to give them the tools needed to be successful in their presentations.

Solution:  Key Interiors refreshed Overture’s breakroom, sales showcase, and three conference rooms. We emphasized their corporate colors and powerful core values throughout the spaces. Each area is as creative and energetic as their amazing staff. It was important to integrate their company history of “favorite movies”. As each employee is hired, they are gifted with a framed movie poster of their favorite movie. They now have a collection of several hundred posters that need to be creatively repurposed. The large conference room became “The Greatest Showroom” with smaller spaces like the “Star Wars” room complete with Jedi lights. Even the stairwells were given movie themes.
